know-how

our precious metal jewelry is the result of craftsmanship and industry. Each Le Gram collection combines a shape, a precious metal, 750 gold or 925 silver, a specific imprint and finish which require all the mastery of our French workshops.

'Made in France' was an obvious choice when launching le gramme in 2013 due to its exceptional jewelry know-how and our desire to export it internationally while being part of a sustainable approach. as part of our development, with increasing production, some of our creations were manufactured in Germany.

France, recognized for its great precision in this field, its machining techniques and its know-how, brings together all the human and technical qualities required to manufacture le gram jewelry.

Our precious metals

  • 925 silver: 1st quality silver composed of 925 thousandths of silver and 75 thousandths of copper
  • 925 black silver: 925 silver which has benefited from a 0.3 micron surface treatment
  • 750 yellow gold: 18 carat gold composed of 750 thousandths of pure Gold, 150 thousandths of Silver and 100 thousandths of Copper
  • 750 red gold: 18 carat gold composed of 750 thousandths of pure Gold, 40 thousandths of Silver and 210 thousandths of Copper.
  • 750 white gold: 18 carat gold composed of 750 thousandths of pure gold, 250 thousandths of palladium and 100 thousandths of silver.

our collections are made of untreated 925 silver and 750 gold in order to acquire a patina over time. in the same way 925 black silver will evolve over the use of your jewelry, the treatment carried out will fade in certain places, revealing the shine of untreated silver.

imprints and finishes

le gram jewelry is always characterized by an imprint and a finish. each variation has an identity imprint:

  • Smooth footprint for permanent variations
  • engraved or guilloché imprint for temporary collections

our finishes can be “polished”, “brushed” or “matte”, they enrich each object with a new relationship to light:

  • “Polished” or “brushed” finish for smooth imprint
  • “Polished” or “matte” finish for guilloche prints
  • “Polished” or “brushed” finish for engraved prints

weight

le gramme is a creative project around the object and its weight. all our creations are named by their weight in grams, a weight whose figure is systematically odd.

Please note, however, that for small and large sizes, for rings and bracelets, a slight difference in weight may be observed. Indeed for these sizes which require more or less precious material, the actual weight engraved on your jewel may be higher or lower than that of the name of the creation.

each creation is named after its weight
